Seek The Lord!

Purpose, Meaning, a Reason for living - these are all things we desire and search for in life. Despite steps each one of us takes to find purpose and meaning, we still fill empty, unfulfilled. That is because there is a spiritual emptiness in each of our lives. We each have a hole in our heart, a spiritual vacuum deep within our soul - a “God-shaped blank”. Possessions won’t fill this hole, nor will success. Relationships alone can’t satisfy this emptiness, and morality, in and of itself falls miserably short of occupying this space. In fact, even religion can’t fill the void in our heart.

There is only one way to effectivly fill that void. This way will not only help us to have a life that is full and rich on this earth, but - more important - will give us the absolute hope of spending eternity in the presence of God.Before we can truly appreciate this good news through, we need to understand the bad new, which is a serious problem we all have.

The Problem is SIN

The Bible clearly identifies our serious problem as sin. Sin is not just an act but the actual nature of our being. In other words, we are not sinners because we sin, rather, we sin because we are sinners! We are born with a nature to do wrong! King David, the Old Testament Israelite ruler, wrote “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5). Because we are born sinners, sinning comes in to all of us naturally. That is why it is futile to think that the answer to all of life’s problems comes from “within”. According to the Bible, the problem is within! Scripture tells us, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

What does it mean to love God above all? This is the question that once asked by my beloved professor in graduate school, that eagerly trigger my subconscious mind to think for how many days and eventually motivated me to answer the query.

In my point of view, to love God above all, it means that we should make Him be the center of our life. Being a Christian, it is one of our duties to stay focus on the light, the source of knowledge, guidance and strength. Without God, we are nothing. We are vanities in all vanities under heaven!

To love God above all, it means that we should encourage, motivate ourselves to know Him more intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. In doing that way, we can easily feel and understand, that we need to do our part to worship and glorify Him with all our hearts and minds without the dictates of others. Above all, apply what we have learned from His teachings to our lives, enable for us to grow and become a mature productive Christian.

The Apostle Paul once says, “Faith without works is dead.” So for me, words without action are useless.

There some groups of Christians who are proclaiming that they really love God and obey His Words but when you ask them who is He? They cannot easily give an answer. That’s why for me, I firmly believe, to love God above all, we must teach and encourage ourselves first to know Him well, so we can avoid creating confusion to the other Christian believers. Now, I will give an answer to the question “Who is God?”

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and The Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is,
and He always will be… Unmoved,
Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can’t understand Him,
The armies can’t defeat Him,
The schools can’t explain Him,
and The leaders can’t ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him,
The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him,
and The people couldn’t hold Him!
Nero couldn’t crush Him,
Hitler couldn’t silence Him,
The New Age can’t replace Him,
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right, His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Redeemer, He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace! He is my Joy,
He is my comfort, He is my Lord, and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
The power of the powerful,
The ancient of days,
the ruler of rulers,
The leader of leaders,
the overseer of the over comers,
and The sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.

And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.
His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
Never forsake me, Never mislead me,
Never forget me,
Never overlook me,
and Ever cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak,
He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody, everywhere, Every time, and every way.

He is God, He is faithful.
I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you’re wondering why I feel so secure, understand this…
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control,
I am on His side,
and That means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!
I love the Lord and thank Him for all that He does in my life,
He is my source of existence and my Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and everyday.
Without Him, I am nothing.
But with Him I can do all things. - Philippians 4:13 –

Dear friend – God created the whole human body, including the sexual organs, and declared the sum total good! Then why should we to speak of that which the Creator has declared good? Yet I do find myself with this dilemma: I have no desire to shock or offend any of you. Yet what’s the alternative? That you would miss the best God’s gift? That you would find this information in some other source that neither honors God not respects His gift? How important it is to know some of these basic things if we want to give our beloved the joy and delight God intended!

When God created woman, He gave her a clitoris, just above the vagina, the man’s gate to oneness with his beloved. This is the most sensitive part of a woman’s body. When properly stimulated, there is an onrush of blood to those tissues, causing them to become engorged for the pleasure of both her and her man. The man’s penis is engulfed, locking them together as one. What the clitoris is to the woman, the tip of the penis is to the man. Both were created by God for the pleasure of the highest sort. Considering facts like these helps you understand what brings about a woman’s orgasm.

You must know and realize that God created you for pleasure not simply procreation. None of these is disgusting or evil in His sight. He is the Master Designer of human sexuality.

What is the rest of our bodies? Our mouths, hands, arms, legs, loins, breasts? Each one has its own nerves and sensory receptors. Each is part of God’s design, meant to be stimulated, enjoyed, and delighted in – but all within the hallowed confines of marriage. God says “marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled.” In other words your sexual of one another and your union with each other in no way defiles you. In his book of wisdom, Proverbs, God says “rejoice in the wife of your youth. As the loving hind and graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; be exhilarated (literally, “intoxicated”) always with her love. (Pr.5:18, 19)”

The sexual union is a moment to drown yourself in the pleasure one another, to be caught in the whirlpool of ecstasy that takes you deeper and deeper into one another until all is spent and you lie quietly in one another arms feeling your oneness as never before. This, my friend, is God’s design and intention. Again, it was intended to bring delight… and to ensure the continuance of His creation.

To start with this, read the Song of Solomon together in your bedroom. Then, behind locked doors, surrounded with soft music and candlelight, hug yourselves in your arms. Treat it as drama. Read God’s script and act out your role!!!
